What have you done for me? Today?

Seems some people really suck.
I noticed it is mainly people who tell you, "I'm good people". Why would they feel the need to do that? Unless there was a question of whether they were or weren't in there own mind. Then there's the people that tell you, "As soon as I get on my feet, I'm going to pay you back". Now why would they even say that? If they really meant it, wouldn't they just do it? But my favorite is the, friend, significant other, boss, co-worker, that gets all pissed off at you when you don't do something they want you to do on that day they want you too, because for the past two weeks you been doing things to help them out, or for "Free", But can't anymore because you either feel as if they are taking advantage of you, or you simply can't afford to help them out any more than you have. Here's an example: A guy tips you for a whole year...Then one day, ONE DAY. he doesn't.
What an asshole! Right? Not thanks for all the other tips.
you can almost see it coming. when they tell you how they are gong to get so-and-so back, or spit in someones coffee. Or move out in the middle of the night tearing up the apartment they own six months back rent on. The landlord just gave them a notice to evict. That asshole! Just remember, next week. It could be YOU they are pissed at. Because, you didn't tip them that one day, Or you're just sick of them taking advantage of you.
enjoy your cup of piss. and don't do anything for anyone, lest they expect it every day!

Headlight problems resolved!!!

Getting very few actually finished.
every time I think I am caught up or closing in
something new happens that takes my full
attention.
what really hurts is having to have other people do most of the work for me.

EX: the other day I wanted to aim the headlights on my convertible.
we, (Me and another) took it all apart, painted the buckets, reassembled it all with new hardware
and all the sudden the lights didn't fit properly.
Hmm, that must be the problem my buddy say's.
I encourage him to re-access everything, but he's sure there's a problem.
Problem was there are inside and outside headlight buckets.
AND a left set and a right set!!!
four buckets for four bulbs. all each have their own place to be.
Took another "Helper" (One that listens) to follow my instructions.
pull it all apart again!!! and do it correctly.
Should be OK...if it ever gets nice enough out I can
take the convertible out for a ride!!!
two days to do four hours work.....Disability is a lot more than most realize.
it encompasses your entire life.

so next I need to fit a bigger carb and new exhaust
on my project three wheel gas powered 125cc
handicap trike. I just re-geared it so it should break 65mph this year!
lot's of assembly left however. I had it down to the piston and the
bike down to the frame. full restoration.
but that's what winter is for.

good luck with all you have to do.

I am still looking for a class A RV for a reasonable price.
Prefer a 70's thru mid 80's Winni. or the like.
if you see a running good deal let me know, OK?

Thanks,

4651 vs 5051 headlights

Hello, I  seen a lot of cars, dealt with a ton of issues, BUT never seen this. I got an 86 LeBaron, the headlights are pointing all over the place. No problem, right? I take it all apart, and the little glass lugs on the back of the bulb, where it sits in the headlight basket, are on the wrong side! Look at them. There are four lugs on the back, three small ones, and one fatter one, that fat one fits in one corner on the top. I don't have it in front of me, but I think the bucket on mine was on the top right side (As your facing the cars nose)But the fat lug on the bulb is on the left top side!! (I could just smash it down, but rather understand why it is)
all the manufactures say the the 5051 can be changed out with a 4651. seems to me, I am the only person in the world whose ever seen this, nobody I spoke with is even aware there are different size lugs on the back of a bulb. Neither was I two weeks ago. SO, I wish to replace these headlights with something a lot brighter. Perhaps, HID? at least H4 for now,
second issue is, everyone selling "Conversion kits" does not understand that I do not need four of the same lights! I need two HI beams, and two HI/LO beams. Is it that difficult to understand? So, bottom line, I want to buy four lights for the LeBaron, But need two sets...that fit MY HOUSINGS, (Fat lug on top right, not left) and contain different bulbs for the HI and LO settings. Easy Breezy, Thanks for trying to understand this. IF I have the wrong Buckets, or the wrong BULBS, somebody please let me know. I am thinking the 5051 bulb has lugs on the top right. LOL?

OK, NOW I understand. I should had posted the ASAP, Whatever you do, don't ever have someone else start a job you will have to finish.
What "Somebody" did was took out all the headlight buckets and repainted them, and since they all look the same, they did not pay any attention to the left, right, outer or inner bucket. So, naturally when you buy a sanders replacement bulb it will only fit in the original bucket...no matter where it's been installed!
So, armed with this knowledge, you could install all Hi-Lo buckets across the grill and have four lo beams, and four Hi beams.  But why would you so that?
Manufactures may not label the buckets for re-installation, but it's easy enough to figure it all out once you pull it all apart.

You will find previos owners doing all kinds of mind numbing alterations to their vehicles without themselves ever knowing it! Then you get to figure it out, good luck.
