Black Cloud in Salem is growing....I seen it too. I also see a lot of
established residences here, "Up for sale". Yep, the town wants to build
a multi million dollar school AND a multi million dollar safety
complex...at the same time, at twice the price of neighboring towns, yet
they continuously vote down gambling at Rockingham...a long standing
tradition. Even when over half Salem residents want it!
I am just
making ends meet now. I cannot afford an increase in taxes to pay for
all this. They won't raise the tax rate, they'll raise your property
value, so you pay more anyways. I have an undersized lot, too small for a
house, and a trailer. Basically, worthless.
folks are turning their single family homes into multi generational and multi family homes. Four in my neighborhood house anywhere from two to four families in one house!
